CDC Information and Help:
Q1: I'm trying to install CDC by double-clicking on it, but Windows tells me it doesn't know the
file-type. How do I go on now?
You will need a newer version of the Windows Installer.

Win98/WinME users, download and install this one: http://kustomappz.fragout.com/Downloads/InstMsiA.exe.

Win2K/WinXP users, download and install this one: http://kustomappz.fragout.com/Downloads/InstMsiW.exe.

Alternatively you can go here: http://search.microsoft.com/search/results.aspx?st=b&qu=Windows+Installer&view=en-us
Q2: During installing I get the following error: "error 1401. Could not create key: HKEY_blablabla.
Verify that you have sufficient access to that key blablabla".
You need administrator-access to your machine to install CDC. Try shift-rightclicking on the installer
and select "Run as..". Input the administrator-user and password. Or you could just log in as a user with full administrator-rights.
Q3: Where can I find the error-log?
It's in the folder where you installed CDC (defaults to: C: \Program Files\Kustom Appz Software\
TWL AA Cheat Deterrent Client). Look for a file called CDCError.log.
Q4: Discrepancies found! AAAAAAAAAAAH Am I banned now
There's no real direct answer, but in most cases no, unless of course it is cheat-related. There are
multiple reasons why you can have discrepancies. Admins take this into account and check the logs thoroughly. If you do have cheats, then yes, you WILL be in trouble.
Q5: Discrepancies: CDC is reporting missing files? What the..?
If the files are xinterface.u and ipdrv.u, install the 1.9 optional patch (http://www.aafiles.com).
Q6: Discrepancies found; it says I have extra files that the server doesn't have! (xxx in system folder but the server doesn't)
If the files are AGP_Security.u, GSMSLibrary.dll, MSVCRT.dll, MSVCRTD.dll and UTelnet.u, delete these files from your AA\System folder. These files are installed after running cleaner.exe or are left-over after an upgrade. The CDS checks against a clean install of the full versions.
If (some of) the files are not the ones mentioned above, your best bet is to move the files mentioned to a temporary folder and then try again. If it works and you thoroughly tested AA, it should be safe to delete the files. If AA doesn't start anymore or something, move them back.
Q7: CDC reports 0 files in my system folder!
Uninstall CDC. If necessary delete any remaining files from the folder it was installed (defaults to C:\Program Files\Kustom Appz Software\TWL AA Cheat Deterrent Client). Downloading CDC 1.58 full (http://www.x8668k.com/cdc/) and install that one.
Q8: I keep getting disconnected from CDC. What's up with that?
This could be because of your firewall. Try to turn it off and test again. If you are running a stateful
firewall (for example under a *nix) try removing the SYN-requirement.
Q9: CDC isn't starting! I checked the error-log, and it says "Automation error. The specified module
could not be found". Uhhhhh? :S
Install the latest Windows Script Host
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.as
p).
Q10: CDC isn't showing my username. Uh-ohw!
Make sure box 1 in CDC contains the proper path of your AA-folder. Make sure it doesn't point to
the system-folder, but just the base folder (defaults to: C: \Program Files\Army Operations\).
Make sure the settings are saved in AA (check the "REMEMBER ME" checkbox in the PERSONNEL
JACKET).
Q11: AA gives me this and that error!
That's right. AA gives you that error. There is no known error that AA gives that is caused by CDC.
Sorry. Still think it's CDC? Post a new topic.
Q12: I have a multiple-monitor setup. Can I expect problems?
It has been reported that while playing AA and using CDC, it can happen that the cursor goes into
the other screen. If you click when it's out of the screen with AA, it will minimize AA. This will
usuallyresult in your death :]
Q13: Discrepancies found: CRC'S don't match
If the files are xinterface.u and ipdrv.u, install the 1.9 optional patch (http://www.aafiles.com).Remove cheats.

Are you using an old version of AA? Has a new version of AA JUST been released? If a new version
just has been released, the CDS might still be running the old version of AA. Or if you haven't
updated yet, CDS might have.
Q14: I get this strange error in my logfile. It says "Could not decrypt data".
This could be due to a setting on the CDS. Report the error on the forum so Hydra can take action.
Q15: The auto-update does not work. How come?
Turn off your firewall (or set it up properly)
Get the latest full version (http://www.x8668k.com/cdc/)
Q16: My problem still isn't solved What now?
Uninstall CDC, then delete the CDC-folder (defaults to: C: \Program Files\Kustom Appz Software\
TWL AA Cheat Deterrent Client). Reboot. Download the latest FULL version of CDC
(http://www.x8668k.com/cdc/) and install it.

Rigorous solution, but works most of the time: Uninstall CDC, then delete the CDC-folder (defaults
to: C: \Program Files\Kustom Appz Software\TWL AA Cheat Deterrent Client). Uninstall AA and
delete the AA-dir (defaults to C: \Program Files\Army Operations\). Reboot. Download the latest
FULL versions of CDC (http://www.x8668k.com/cdc/) and AA (for example:
http://www.aafiles.com). Install AAO and configure it. Install CDC. Reboot. Ask for permission
to test CDC (see Q: I want to test CDC. Am I allowed to?). If allowed, go test it.
